Shipping Policy

Welcome to Ravenswood Studios Ottawa. Because our art is inspired by the slow, intentional pace of nature, we take great care in how our pieces are produced and delivered to you. To offer the best quality across different mediums, we use a hybrid fulfillment model.

1. Separate Shipments (The "Hybrid" Model)

Please note that if you order multiple types of items, they may arrive in separate packages and at different times. This is because our products are fulfilled from different locations:

  • Handcrafted Wood Pieces: These are one-of-a-kind artisanal items packaged with care and mailed directly from our studio in Ottawa, Ontario.

  • Journals & Stationery: Our journals are custom-printed and delivered via Lulu Direct.

  • Art Posters: Our vintage-style posters are printed and delivered via Gelato.

2. Processing Times

  • Wood Art & Decor: As these are often finished by hand, please allow 3–5 business days for processing before your item is shipped.

  • Printed Items (Journals & Posters): These are "made-to-order" to reduce waste. Production typically takes 2–4 business days before they are handed off to the carrier.

3. Shipping Rates & Destinations

We ship within Canada and to the United States. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight of the items and your delivery location.​

4. Tracking Your Order

Once your order (or part of your order) has shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number. If you ordered multiple items, you may receive multiple tracking numbers as each piece begins its journey to you.

5. Taxes & Customs

  • Canada: Applicable HST/GST will be added at checkout based on your province.

  • International (USA): Customers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs.

6. Damaged Items

We want your new art to arrive safely. If your item is damaged during transit, please take a photo of the packaging and the product and email us immediately at ravenswoodstudioottawa@gmail.com so we can make it right.
