Refund Policy

At Ravenswood Studios Ottawa, we want you to be inspired by every piece you receive. Because of the unique nature of our products—ranging from custom-printed journals to handcrafted wood art—our refund policy varies by product type.

 

1. Custom-Printed Items (Journals & Posters)

Our journals (fulfilled by Lulu Direct) and art posters (fulfilled by Gelato) are made-to-order specifically for you.

  • Returns: We cannot accept returns or exchanges for these items due to "change of mind."

  • Damages or Errors: If your journal or poster arrives damaged, or if there is a printing error, please contact us at ravenswoodstudioottawa@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery. Please include photos of the damage and the packaging so we can arrange for a replacement through our fulfillment partners.

2. Handcrafted Wood Pieces

These are unique, artisanal items shipped directly from our Ottawa studio.

  • Returns: If you are not satisfied with your handcrafted wood piece, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.

  • Conditions: Items must be returned in their original, unused condition and in the original packaging.

  • Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Once the item is received and inspected, we will issue a refund for the purchase price (excluding original shipping costs).

3. Non-Returnable Items​

  • Items purchased on "Sale" or "Clearance"

  • Custom-commissioned wood pieces

4. Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain amount of days (depending on your bank).

5. Cancellations

Because our printing partners (Lulu and Gelato) begin the production process almost immediately, we cannot accept order cancellations for journals, posters, or print-on-demand items.
